Welcome to the website of Het RedactiePakhuis (HRP), Dutch for ‘The Editorial Warehouse’, or, Her Royal Packager . It is a one-woman business, founded by Rikky Schrever in 2007. She has lots of industry experience producing magazines and other written publications.

This virtual warehouse offers you a closer look at the services of Het RedactiePakhuis, which are:

• Editorial services, Packaging and Project Management on the first floor
• Writing of children’s books on the second floor
• Translations from English to Dutch on the third floor
• Webshop with children’s magazines on the fourth floor
• -NEW- Platform that stimulates cloud reading for kids on the fifth floor

1st – Editorial services and Project Management
You may call us a packager, as HRP together with external professionals takes care of the production of your children’s books, annuals, magazines and other (children’s) publications, such as partworks, storybooks, pockets and activity books from concept to press-ready PDFs. Please feel free to outsource any part of your book-project, such as the writing, editing, illustrating or designing.

2nd – Writing of children’s books
You have no other option but to become an author if your surname means ‘writer’ in ancient Dutch! Rikky Schrever has written many short stories, rhymes, and non-fiction for young readers. Some of the board books that she wrote have been published in several countries, including Brazil, Denmark, Germany, France, Russia and Greece. Do you need to hire a Dutch (children’s book) writer? Look no further!

3rd – Translations from English to Dutch
In the last few of years, Rikky translated well over 200 children’s books from English to Dutch. She specializes in translations and adaptations of licensed properties, such as Bob the Builder, Sesame Street, Dora the Explorer and many other well-known characters.

4th – Webshop with children’s magazines
In 2010, Rikky launched a unique webshop that is entirely focused on children’s magazines. Consumers can buy recent hardcopies or take out a subscription of their favorite magazine at www.kinderbladen.nl.

5th – Digital Children’s Book Platform
I am working on the launch of ‘BOEKENWOLK’, Dutch for ‘BOOK CLOUD’. This online library with digital children’s books provides access to subscribers only. No downloads! Once the Dutch platform is online, please have a look at www.boekenwolk.nl. Midyear 2012 the English version will be launched: YINDO JUNIOR.
